Our new Wii has been a big hit and we are enjoying watching some very entertaining dancing. The children have loved the variety of sports games - a great option for the colder dark evenings!

Next week in Rainbow Kids Club we have planned some exciting activities, we will also be continuing a few from last week. These include;
-Can you make it float? Building rafts to see if the pennies will float or sink? ⛵️💰 -How tall can it go? Using balloons to build a sky scraper. 🎈 -Dot pattern painting, also known as pointillsm. Using cotton buds and paint to create a pattern. 🎨 - Foam dough making and our Rainbow Kids Club values. 🌈 We look forward to an exciting week! Have a great weekend! This week we have lots of exciting activities planned. We will be:
Building a balloon structure 🎈 Building a house for the 3 little pigs using Lego bricks, paper straws and lollipop sticks 🐷 Shaving foam rain clouds experiment 🌧 Invent our own group story using objects from around the room 📚 Geometric painting 🎨 Making foam dough. We will also be talking about Rainbow kids club values, which will then be displayed. 🌈 This week at RKC we have lots of activities planned to celebrate bonfire night and Diwali.
We will be * creating fireworks pictures using different methods of painting such as blow painting and fork painting to achieve different results. * looking at different Rangoli patterns and creating our own versions of these using coloured salt. * drawing our own henna hand art. We are also very lucky to have a visitor coming in on Wednesday to show us her traditional Diwali dress and tell us all about this beautiful festival. Children who attend on a Monday are asked if they can please bring a pair of gloves as we will be going outside to use sparklers.
